Going to the Strawberry Festival has been a family tradition for as long as I can remember. I used to hate it because it was always hot, people always cut in lines and I never had enough money to ride the rides AND play games. However, I’ve grown to love it because I’ve made many great memories here with my family and friends, and the strawberry supremes are AMAZING. I doubt you can find a place that makes strawberries, shortcake and ice cream blend better than one of the booths at the Strawberry Festival. I forgot the name of the organization that makes them, but you’ll know you’re at the right place if there is a fifteen-minute queue in front of a large white food truck that sells strawberry bowls. Not only that, but Garden Grove High School’s baseball team can make some mean tacos as well. 👌
I have to admit — wearing sandals to the festival was probably not the best idea. By the time I left, my feet were covered in a dark dust from the dirt and dead grass. However, this may have been a blessing in disguise because now that I think of it, cleaning feet is definitely much easier (and quicker) than cleaning shoes.
